Ipreo, a leader in financial services workflow solutions, has expanded its Raleigh operations with significant renovations and a rebranding. The revamped 23,400 square feet on the 10th floor features a modern open-plan layout, new café and conference areas, and an internal staircase to enhance collaboration. This design promotes flexibility, allowing employees to choose their preferred work environments.

Ipreo is a leading global provider of workflow solutions and market intelligence for financial services and corporate professionals. In 2018, the company announced plans to expand its operations in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was subsequently purchased by IHS Markit. This acquisition allowed Ipreo to grow rapidly, increasing its workforce from 100 to over 300 professionals since its inception in 2013.
As part of this expansion, Boomerang Design collaborated with Ipreo and IHS Markit to rebrand the company and renovate the 10th floor of their office located at 421 Fayetteville Street.
The renovations covered 23,400 square feet of existing office space on the 10th floor. The design services included:
- New Open Plan Layout: A modern open-plan design to accommodate employee workspaces, fostering collaboration.
- Café and Conference Areas: Dedicated spaces for casual interaction and formal meetings.
- Accessible Restrooms: New restrooms on the 10th floor to ensure accessibility for all employees.
- Updates to Existing Facilities: Enhanced finishes in restrooms on the 8th and 9th floors, and refreshed elevator lobbies on the 8th, 9th, and 10th floors.
- Rebranding: Updates to branding elements on the 8th and 9th floors to reflect the new company identity.
- Internal Staircase: A new open staircase connecting the 9th and 10th floors, promoting seamless movement within the space.
These changes aimed to create a more engaging and efficient working environment, fully supporting Ipreo’s growth and collaborative culture.
