Cross Assembly Church expanded its reach with a new satellite location in Johnston County. To achieve Cross Assembly’s goals for the new facility, our team developed a comprehensive master plan that includes a new 300-seat sanctuary and new facilities for their children’s ministry to be completed in multiple phases. Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been completed, enhancing the existing sanctuary and introducing a new addition to the children’s ministry.

Cross Assembly Church expanded by adding a new satellite location in Johnston County. To support this expansion, the church has purchased an existing facility for redevelopment. Boomerang has created a comprehensive master plan to optimize the site, which includes building a new 300-seat sanctuary, adding a facility for the children’s ministry, and renovating the existing sanctuary for youth ministry. The plan also incorporates a complete redesign of the parking area.
To date, both Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been completed. These phases included upgrades to the sanctuary; enhancements to seating, finishes, technology, and restrooms; improvements in ADA accessibility; and the addition of a kitchen and café area. Additionally, the first of three phases of new construction is now finished and features a new addition for the children’s ministry.
